“Nobody can be uncheered with a balloon” – at least that’s what Winnie the Pooh says – we found that out first hand when a nice girl on her way to the airport just handed us a pink one, saying “when you go after honey with a balloon, the great thing is not to let the bees know that you are coming”.

Okay, maybe she didn’t give us that advice. There is no way she could have known we were about to go after honey by finding Winnie the Pooh’s stash.  We certainly didn’t need any bees finding out our plans so we just left the balloon in our room, away from any bees, and set off to the Magic Kingdom.

Winnie The Pooh and Tigger can be found, fully of excitement and mischief, right next to the Winnie the Pooh Ride, at scheduled times.  Don’t expect anything normal from Tigger. Tigger will show you that life is all about how you bounce, so feel free to jump with him – but watch out.

Don’t confuse a visit with Winnie The Pooh and Tigger with a ride on the honeypots (right next to them). This ride fills up, and the line moves pretty slowly (because there are a lot of fun activities), so be sure to get a fast pass for the ride.

Winnie and Tigger will sign autographs but do not speak, given that they are animals.

Another shout out to our mystery girl, who gave us the balloon, and sent us on our wild adventure in the first place. As A.A. Milne once said “A little consideration, a little thought for others, makes all the difference”

How to enjoy the little things in Disney.. because one day you will look back and realize they were the big things… or otherwise entitled “the search for that honeypot”. (photo credit/picture – Disney/A.A. Milne).

Winnie The Pooh and Friends isn’t the main event.. but they play an important role in Disney.. Just click here to see the website.

The characters can be found if you make a reservation at The Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom (great choice if you want to get into the park early as well). Food, however is not totally 100 percent hard to say good bye to if you know what I mean.  We have not tried to eat at The Crystal Palace because of the reviews I have gotten from friends.

They can also often be found bouncing around Fantasy Land, around the 100 Acre Wood/ Winnie the Pooh Ride.  If you think there are shadows never fear, they only mean there is a light shining near by. What is the light? The Magic Kingdom – in Fantasy Land – the light shines all over The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.

Have you not heard of it? Not seen it? It’s fantastic. Tons of stuff to play with in line. A fun area for the kids. Definitely worth the fast pass but depending on time of day not always a terrible wait. (Just don’t let them get totally lost in the fun things before the ride, and unfortunately there is no way for them to enjoy them at the end of the ride without waiting in line.) It’s wonderful.

Winnie the Pooh lives inside the 100 acre wood inside a tree. He is braver than you believe, stronger than he seems, and smarter than you think. Really.  His creator A.A Milne based Winnie the Pooh and his friends off of his own young Christopher Robin’s stuffed animals. Guess what, they were real!!! And if they weren’t real, than they would be a bit less.. um… we!

Although Winnie the Pooh is a bear with little brain, stuffed with fluff, he hates saying goodbye. He is extremely loyal to his friends, even Piglet. Optimistic even at moments of despair, such as being stuck in a wall, he will make sure he gets to the honeypot.

Winnie the Pooh and Tigger and friends can often be found in the 100 Acre Wood, prancing around The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. click here for more information. Unfortunately, there are no fast passes that I know of to meet the gang

Always watch what you are doing on your way to Winne the Pooh and Friends, or you may step on a piece of the forest by mistake.

For parents of young kids, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh just happens to be directly across from the Mine Train Roller Coaster. So you can always take advantage of Ride Switch, click here for info, while you’re waiting take the kids on an adventure. Think that’s impossible? Winnie the Pooh does almost nothing every day and can tell you that he knows that once you walked into the area, an adventure was about to happen.
And if there is ever a day you can’t be with him, he begs you to please go back to the top and do it all over again. He is so tired that his tired is tired. But he still wants to be with you forever.
